“I knew I wanted to be a fashion designer and the course at Camborne covered lots of different disciplines, which was great as it gave me a wonderful overview of all the various paths open to me and I particularly remember enjoying life drawing. From there I was accepted by The University of Plymouth to study fashion design and on completion of my degree I then moved back to Cornwall and got a job at a high-end fashion boutique, which introduced me to the spectrum of fashion. My goal was to have my designs on the catwalk at the Clothes Show, so I worked hard, researched a lot , got signed by a portfolio agency and was then contacted by the stylist who wanted me to be involved in the designs for the opening sequence to the show. From there I received work from the X-factor , Got to Dance and worked with Vogue of a Range Rover launch.”
